New Segafredo café in Stuttgart

With open architecture, generously lit halls and a Mediterranean atmosphere, the new ECE shopping centre Milaneo will turn shopping into an experience in Stuttgart from 9th October 2014. Over three floors with a total of 43,000 square metres, 200 shops, service and food companies invite guests to shop. On the ground floor in the middle of the shopping centre, Adi Sajtovic with Stonner shop-fitters have implemented a Segafredo Espresso Bar over 29m² (plus 16m² "piazza") which will ensure shoppers can enjoy real Italian pleasure.

From Monday to Saturday the team around experienced barista Ivo Cancar will spoil guests from 9:00-20:00 with original coffee specialities (espresso €2.00, cappuccino €2.90, latte macchiato €3.20) and a wide range of paninis and desserts.

"We are continuing our long-lasting partnership with ECE in the Milaneo: this is the 28th ECE shopping centre that will have a Segafredo Espresso Bar. I am particularly delighted that our successful franchisee, Mr. Sajtovic, will open his second Segafredo Espresso Bar in the Milaneo after his first in Waiblingen!" emphasised Franz Schwaiger, CEO of Segafredo Zanetti Deutschland GmbH.
Segafredo Zanetti, Europe's top espresso supplier to catering outlets, is dedicated to the distribution of original Italian coffee with the motto "il vero espresso italiano". The franchised espresso bars act as global ambassadors of original Italian coffee culture. The most recent franchises went live in Japan/Tokyo (4 locations), Ecuador/Quito, Dominican Republic/Santo Domingo and Thailand/Koh Samui.

In Germany alone Segafredo had 87 franchise bars last year; in autumn 2014 a total of three locations will open. In addition to Stuttgart, Hagen and Munich will each get one more bar all`Italiana. For 24 years the franchise bars have been recognisable by the company's combination of colours in red/black, the "Segafredo Zanetti Espresso" logo, the black cups and the black-and-white Italian lifestyle images. Espresso, cappuccino & co. are certainly no longer just a trend; they have become part of day-to-day Germany life - ci vediamo al bar!
