Boncafé Launches Rainforest Reserve – An Asian Sustainable Coffee Initiative

Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group, through its subsidiary company Boncafé International is excited to announce the launch of Rainforest Reserve, an Asian sustainable coffee initiative, as part of its ongoing commitment of creating an environment of sustainably sourced coffee. 

From the highlands of Da Lat and Dak Lak in Vietnam, Boncafé presents Rainforest Reserve – an exquisite Asian coffee blend using the finest beans from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms in Vietnam. This unique blend wonderfully melds the distinctive qualities of the coffee beans and is roasted and blended for a pleasantly sweet, syrupy and candy-like aroma. A medium-dark roast, each delightfully aromatic brew, is full bodied, low in acidity, with hints of wood and a cinnamon spiced finishing note. 

Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms in Vietnam have met the criteria of the Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard. This Standard encompasses all three pillars of sustainability—social, economic, and environmental. These certified farms are audited regularly to verify that Vietnamese farmers are complying with the Standard’s comprehensive requirements, which require continual improvement on the journey to sustainable agriculture. 

This means the farmers are trained in sustainable practices that help safeguard the health of the land and benefit farm communities and farmers’ livelihoods while boosting yields at the same time. By enjoying Rainforest Reserve coffee, consumers are making a conscientious effort to help protect our environment and ensuring the long-term wellbeing of the farm communities, forests, and wildlife on which we all depend on.
