New Opening SHENZHEN

Italian design, Italian coffee: the Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport, inaugurated on November 28th 2013 and designed by the Italian architects Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, is now ready to welcome travelers from all around the world.

The new terminal has 450,000 square meters of floor space, 62 boarding gates, can accommodate any type of plane and is able to handle up to 45 million passengers each year.

The elegant and sculptural structure of the brand new airport, whose form mimics a manta ray, is designed to let in natural light through the internal and external double ‘skin’ with a “honeycomb” pattern, a masterpiece of design and the perfect place to taste an Italian espresso at our new Segafredo Espresso Cafè.

This brand new coffee shop is very easy to find and has a great view over the check in area, a great place to stop before (and after) a flight.

Thanks to our franchisee Mrs. Peng Jing Rong, General Manager of Nanjing Zhongtu Industrial, the success of this shop will bring many opportunities for the new openings at major Airports in China in a very near future.
